Lincoln's Challenge Academy
I was on Team Two, Wrecking Crew, one of eight teams at LCA Military Academy.
We woke up at five, PT'd for a while (No matter the weather, once we were out in twenty degrees with nothing but sweatpants and a tshirt!) and went on with our day getting yelled at. xD
Me and my friend I had known for a long time before we both went and ended up on the same team came with me on 9/17/13 to visit our Lieutenants and stuff, and we took pictures and a video.

Le'vant guard- the best of the best
We were the proud, the few, and the great. Out of over 800 Cadets, the thirty of us were chosen. We were chosen for our leadership skills, our marching prowess, and our respect. We wore black berets, like what the Green Berets wear, and white laces instead of the drab black ones for our boots others wore. We had crisp, bright white gloves and gun belts, not to mention a VERY sexy black rope that was wrapped around our right shoulder. We were expected to look professional at all times and our uniforms were to look outstanding 100% of the time.
We had rank, and could get promoted. I was a Master Sergeant, higher ranked than 85% of Le'Vant Cadets. We also had rank privledges, meaning we could give orders.
We escorted generals of the Army, civilians of power, and guest speakers, marching in perfect unison.
Passerby would see us standing straight, at our positions, staring dead ahead at Ceremonial Parade Rest, silent, and watchful.
We were the best, unequivocally.

The Generals- a le'vant guard mission
I would say that our greatest most proudest mission yet in Classs 29-12 was when four generals from various branches of the armed forces flew in in Black Hawks to speak to the LCA Corps.
We posted on the path leading to the building, one across from eachother. (There was twenty of us, the best out of all the other Le'Vant)
We stood there at Parade Rest until the Black Hawks flew overhead. I can still remember the gust of air and the loud rotors. those things are LEGIT.
Once they flew over Le'Vant snapped to Ceremonial Parade Rest, and we watched as the Generals got out from their helo and rode in cars up to the front of the building.
Our Director, Peter T. Thomas, along with others of our commanding officers, and a LT from each of our teams, walked out to greet the generals. They all turned towards us and a guy with a bright steel decorative sword raised it in the air, rested it on his right shoulder, walked forward and Left-Faced, and walked down to escort the Generals towards the entrance, between the Le'Vant Guard ranks. The anthem of each of the generals branch played, and Le'Vant Saluted, after executing a brilliant half-right-face. After that we turned back to our original positions, staring at the Le'Vant directly across from us on the other side of the walkway. The generals began forward, and as the generals walked by we dropped our salute and snapped to Ceremonial PR.
The generals went inside, and we were dismissed.
The only awkward thing was that since each Le'Vant was directly across from another, facing them, and we had to be silent, was staring at eachother. xD
There was nothing like the feeling we had at that moment when the Hawks flew in and we were there in uniform waiting.
